Veteran actor Willem Dafoe has joined the upcoming Justice League movie but who is he playing?
Willem Dafoe — best known to comic book fans for playing Green Goblin in Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man movies as well as roles in films such as The Boondock Saints — has been cast in a new role for the Justice League movie directed by Zack Snyder.
Now according to reports, Dafoe is expected to play a major role in both Justice League movies. The first Justice League film will be released on November 17, 2017 with the second installment coming out on June 14, 2019.
The only detail we know about Dafoe’s character is that he’s expected to play a good guy and not a villain in the upcoming movie.
Now who that could be remains a mystery, but all signs point towards Dafoe appearing in both Justice League movies so his part must be important enough that he’ll stick around for two films.
Details about the plot of the Justice League movies are still being kept under wraps, but Snyder and the cast kicked off filming for the movie this month.
Dafoe joins Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Gal Gadot, Jason Momoa, Ezra Miller, Ray Fisher, and JK Simmons who are already part of the Justice League cast.
