Filming for Wonder Woman has officially got underway with star Gal Gadot sending out the first official photo from set….
Wonder Woman will be the first time the new DC/Warner Bros. Universe will feature a female superhero in the lead role and it’s about damn time!
The movie stars Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman after first kicking off the role in next year’s Batman V. Superman: Dawn of Justice where she will co-star alongside Henry Cavill and Ben Affleck.
The new movie will shoot in the United Kingdom with Patty Jenkins as director.

The film also stars Chris Pine as Colonel Steve Trevor as well as Robin Wright, Danny Huston and David Thewlis. There have been rumors floating that Nicole Kidman will also be in the movie playing Wonder Woman’s mother but as of now that has not been finalized.
Wonder Woman will land in theaters on June 23, 2017.
