‘X-Men: Apocalypse’ has found a new trio of stars to play Cyclops, Storm and Jean Grey for the upcoming film…
The next movie in the X-Men franchise — ‘X-Men: Apocalypse’ — has added three new cast members to fill key roles in the upcoming film.
Director Bryan Singer tweeted the news on Thursday to make the announcement.

The best known actor among the trio of new additions is Sophie Turner, who most will recognizes as Sansa Stark from ‘Game of Thrones’. She will play Jean Grey in the upcoming movie, taking over the part from Fanke Janssen, who played her in four different X-Men films.
Tye Sheridan played in the film ‘Mud’ alongside Academy Award winner Matthew McConaughey and he will play the new Cyclops aka Scott Summers. James Marsden played Cyclops in the original X-Men films.
And finally Alexandra Shipp, who just recently played Aaliyah in a made for TV movie about the pop star’s life, will play Storm, who was originally played by Halle Berry.
‘X-Men: Apocalypse’ will be released on May 27, 2016 with many of the stars from ‘X-Men: First Class’ and ‘X-Men: Days of Future Past’ set to return including James McAvoy and Michael Fassbender.
