X-Men: Days of Future Past — First Look at Full Size Sentinels (Photo)

X-Men: Days of Future Past director Bryan Singer loves to drop a few pictures from set to keep fans frothing at their mouths until next year when the latest film about the popular comic book super group is released, and today was no exception.

The main antagonist in the upcoming time travel film will be Bolivar Trask played by Game of Thrones star Peter Dinklage, but it’s his creation that causes the X-Men the biggest headache.

The mutant hunting and killing Sentinel robots have played a major part in almost every X-Men creation throughout the last few decades from comic books to cartoon series, and now they will finally make their way into the films as well.

We already released a first look at the Sentinel’s at San Diego Comic Con, but now there is a full scale picture featuring Singer standing next to one of the giant robots as released on Twitter today.

As you can see, the Sentinels are certainly fearsome machines, but definitely a different look from the original creatures shown in the comic books as witnessed by the picture below:
