DC Comics and Warner Bros. have finally confirmed the existence of a ‘Justice League’ movie with Zack Snyder handling the directorial duties for the new project…
The upcoming ‘Batman vs. Superman’ film that will be released in 2016 has been growing by leaps and bounds over the last few months with new characters being added including both Wonder Woman and Cyborg. The additions of these characters led many to believe that DC and Warner Bros were fast tracking a Justice League movie, and now it appears the educated guesses were correct.
Warner Bros. president Greg Silverman told the Wall Street Journal that the studio is planning a Justice League movie with Henry Cavill starring as Superman, Ben Affleck as Batman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman and the newest cast member being Ray Fisher, who will play Cyborg in the upcoming movie.
The film will be directed by Zack Snyder, who is also directing the upcoming ‘Batman vs. Superman’ feature filming in Detroit starting next month.
The ‘Justice League’ movie is expected to film back-to-back with ‘Batman vs. Superman’ and get a possible release date as early as 2017.
The final characters who will appear in the upcoming movie remains a mystery, but we now know at least four of the titled superheroes that will be in the upcoming ‘Justice League’ film. No telling if Ryan Reynolds phone will start blowing up any time soon or not.
