The classic movie ‘Ghostbusters’ will be revived in theaters this August for a special screening in celebration of the film’s 30th anniversary…
Get her…that was your plan, Ray? Get her?
Yep, the plan is to get the Ghostbusters back into theaters this August 29 in a special celebration of the film’s 30th anniversary.
Over 700 theaters nationwide will carry the film for the special release that helped launch one of the most popular films of the last half century. Starring Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Ernie Hudson and the late Harold Ramis, Ghostbusters remains a cult classic to this day and as part of the anniversary of the film a new blu-ray collection will also be released on September 16 including the first ever blu-ray release of the sequel, Ghostbusters II, which celebrates its 25th anniversary this year as well.
While talk of a third Ghostbusters movie continues to circulate, the original remains a classic so if you weren’t around in 1984 to catch it in theaters, make sure to watch the remastered re-release in August.
