American Horror Story creator Ryan Murphy’s next anthology series will be a horror/comedy titled ‘Scream Queens’ starring Emma Roberts and Jamie Lee Curtis…
It seems Ryan Murphy just has a love of all things horror.
The multi-show creator currently running ‘American Horror Story’ at FX as well as ‘Glee’ on FOX has another new series coming in the near future and the stars for the project have been cast.
Emma Roberts — who has starred on the last two seasons of American Horror Story — will top the anthology series, which very much like American Horror Story will tell a specific tale each season before resetting for the next year with an all new plot and story.
Her co-star will be the original movie scream queen, Jamie Lee Curtis, who has starred in a huge list of horror films over the years, most notable as heroine Laurie Strode in the original “Halloween’ and several sequels as well.
The story for the first season while still vague but Roberts is expected to star with at least two more younger girls with Curtis and a male actor likely playing somebody’s mother and father.
Stay tuned for more details on ‘Scream Queens’ as it becomes available.
