More casting news for ‘Sons of Anarchy’ season 7 as the new sheriff in town has been confirmed with Annabeth Gish taking the role…
Law enforcement in Charming, California doesn’t have the best lifespan unless your name is Wayne Unser, but somebody has to do the job and for the final season of ‘Sons of Anarchy’ the new sheriff in town will be Annabeth Gish.
The news first reported by TVLine confirms that Gish will be placed on recurring status for the new season that just started shooting in California this week.
Gish will play Althea Jarry, the new sheriff in town who comes from Stockton’s Organized Crime Unit before taking the job in Charming. She takes over for murdered sheriff Eli Roosevelt, who met his demise at the end of last season. He joined David Hale as former chiefs from Charming who didn’t make it out alive, so hopefully Althea has better luck.
Her first order of business will be looking into Eli’s murder along with the murder of Dr. Tara Knowles, who died thanks to Gemma at the end of last season.
Gish is currently also featured in a role on another FX series — ‘The Bridge’ — which is currently in production. She will shoot to two shows simultaneously in Los Angeles.
‘Sons of Anarchy’ season 7 will debut on FX this September
