Director Zack Snyder revealed on Saturday a first look at Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman from the upcoming film ‘Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice’….
The Warner Bros. panel was one of the most highly anticipated moments for all of San Diego Comic Con 2014 and the studio didn’t disappoint as they rolled out the red carpet for the stars of ‘Batman V. Superman: Dawn of Justice’.
Stars Henry Cavill (Superman) and Ben Affleck (Batman) hit the stage together as well as Gal Gadot, who will be playing Wonder Woman in the upcoming film. Director Zack Snyder also appeared but waited until after the panel to release this first image of Gadot as Wonder Woman. Check out the image below:
As far as the appearance goes, the actors walking out and waving to the crowd was about as much as they did at San Diego Comic Con, but Snyder did manage to unleash a brief clip from the film, which won’t actually be released until 2016.
In the clip, Batman is seen perched on a rooftop where he pulls off a tarp covering the Bat signal. When the signal goes up, the light shines directly on Superman flying through the sky. The two characters then lock eyes before staring down in a brief face off.
There were rumors floating around for the past few days that Warner Bros. might pull the trigger and introduce the entire Justice League cast, which is the next film in the franchise after ‘Batman V. Superman’. Alas, the introduction of the three main stars along with the clip were sufficient enough to keep the 6000 plus in attendance frothing at the mouth after witnessing the unveiling of the movie.
‘Batman V. Superman: Dawn of Justice’ opens on May 6, 2016.
