The upcoming reboot for the popular NBC series ‘Heroes’ titled ‘Heroes Reborn’ has found its leading man as ‘Chuck’ star Zachary Levi has landed the part…
‘Heroes’ will return in a big way on NBC later this year with a reboot of the series titled ‘Heroes Reborn’ and it appears the leading man will be a familiar face to fans.
Zachary Levi — best known for his role on the cult series hit ‘Chuck’ — will play the lead role on the new series according to a report from TVLine. While there are no details about the character Levi will play, it seems he will be a ‘key’ to the entire show.
“There are a few franchises I’ve always wanted to be a part of, and Heroes is one of them,” Levi said. “Chuck gave me the opportunity to wield some fun powers, but an entire world with superpowers is a world I’ve always wanted to explore.”
Levi has been a mainstay in the nerd world ever since his time on ‘Chuck’ after he started his Nerd Machine clothing line and website while also hosting a series of popular interviews at San Diego Comic Con every year called ‘Conversations for a Cause’. The Nerd HQ set up at Petco Park during the convention has become one of the most coveted destinations for fans each year, while Levi remained in the spotlight while he spearheaded the project.
Now he’ll be headed back to his first major TV role since ‘Chuck’ ended a few years ago.
More details on casting and launch dates for the ‘Heroes Reborn’ will likely come in the next few weeks.
