The first star from the original version of ‘Heroes’ has signed back on for the upcoming reboot as Jack Coleman has officially joined the cast…
Jack Coleman was one of the main stars from the original show ‘Heroes’ that stuck around for all four seasons until the series went off the air, but he’s coming back for another run in the new reboot miniseries titled ‘Heroes Reborn’.
On the original show, Coleman played Noah Bennett, father to Claire Bennett (played by Hayden Pannettiere), and was best known throughout the series as HRG or ‘Man in the Horn Rimmed Glasses’ as he was referred to by fans before the character’s name was finally revealed.
The character of Noah Bennett was originally a member of ‘the company’ responsible for keeping tabs on anyone with special abilities, including his adopted daughter Claire. Through four seasons of the show, Coleman’s portrayal as Bennett made him a fan favorite and now he’ll be back for the new series as well.
‘Heroes Reborn’ will be a 13-episode limited miniseries from NBC launching in 2015. With Coleman now on board, don’t be surprised to see more former cast members also join the team as the show moves closer and closer to production.
