‘Logan’ will fast forward the story of Wolverine to 2024 and his old friend Professor Xavier isn’t the same anymore…
There have been a lot of rumors about the plot for the upcoming Wolverine sequel titled ‘Logan’ but one piece of the puzzle that has been revealed is Patrick Stewart as Professor Charles Xavier making an appearance — perhaps his final appearance — alongside Hugh Jackman.
According to details that have been revealed from the movie, Professor Xavier is much older in this story that takes place in 2024, as he struggles to use his powers and sometimes can’t even remember Logan’s name some days.
Well we got our first glimpse of Professor Xavier from the movie courtesy of ‘Logan’ director James Mangold, who released the shot on Thursday.

Jackman has already announced that this will be his last time playing Wolverine after first taking up the role in 2000’s ‘X-Men’ and this may also serve as one of Stewart’s final times playing Professor Xavier as well.
‘Logan’ opens in theaters on March 3, 2017.
