Marvel isn’t playing around with the new series they have set up at Netflix because just a week after announcing Charlie Cox as the star of the upcoming series ‘Daredevil’, they have now added a real heavy hitter to star as the series’ main villain.
Vincent D’Onofrio — best known for his role in ‘Law & Order’ not to mention the classic ‘Full Metal Jacket’ — will star as Wilson Fisk aka The Kingpin in the upcoming series.
The Kingpin is best known as Daredevil’s arch nemesis — a huge hulking man who wields power over the criminal underworld throughout Hell’s Kitchen, which serves as Daredevil’s stomping grounds.
The 13-episode order of the new series will begin production later this year with a debut date expected in 2015.
