Marvel has released the full details about the plot for the upcoming sequel The Avengers 2: Age of Ultron…
The waiting time until The Avengers 2: Age of Ultron lands in theaters is less than a year from now — May 1, 2015 to be exact — and now Marvel has released the official synopsis for the movie to get everyone frothing at the mouth in anticipation.
The big bad in the new movie is the murderous robot called Ultron, created by Tony Stark, and hellbent on destroying all of humanity. The new Avengers film will also welcome The Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver into the fold as well, although the part they ultimately play is still up in the air.

“Marvel Studios presents “Avengers: Age of Ultron,” the epic follow-up to the biggest Super Hero movie of all time. When Tony Stark tries to jumpstart a dormant peacekeeping program, things go awry and Earth’s Mightiest Heroes, including Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, The Incredible Hulk, Black Widow and Hawkeye, are put to the ultimate test as the fate of the planet hangs in the balance.
