San Diego Comic Con will kick off in less than two weeks time and the schedules for the upcoming show are starting to be revealed day by day.
Thus far the major panels for both Thursday and Friday have been released. To view the full schedule please visit HERE
But for now Nerdcore Movement will give you a run down of the top panels and guests appearing on the show:
Thursday, July 18
10am — Intelligence — Ballroom 20 – New CBS thriller starring Josh Holloway (Sawyer from Lost) and others. Cast and crew expected to attend
10:30am — Battlestar Galactica 35th Anniversary Celebration — Room 6BCF – Richard Hatch (Capt Apollo, Tom Zarek) hosts the panel to discuss the sci-fi show’s lasting legacy. Several other guests are expected to attend including writers and directors.
11:30am — DC Comics All-Access — Room 6DE – All of the top creators from DC will be in attendance to answer questions and preview what’s coming up in the DC Universe. Geoff Johns, Gail Simone, Jeff Lemire and others expected to attend
12pm — Beauty and the Beast — Ballroom 20 – Cast stars Kristin Kreuk and Jay Ryan along with several other cast members and crew will be in attendance.
3:30pm — The X-Files 20th Anniversary Panel — Ballroom 20 – This is sure to be one of the biggest panels so get in line early if you plan on attending this one. Show creator Chris Carter and stars David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson will be in attendance.
3:50pm — Ender’s Game — Hall H – Watch the classic book come to life with exclusive footage shown during the panel along with a Q&A with stars Harrison Ford (please ask him a Star Wars question) and others will be in attendance
4:15pm — The Walking Dead 10th Anniversary Panel – Room 6A – Creator Robert Kirkman previews all of the exciting plans for the comic book’s upcoming decade anniversary. Also don’t forget to check out the Image booth for all new items exclusively available at the convention
6pm — Teen Wolf – Ballroom 20 – Cast and crew attend to answer questions about season 3 of the popular MTV show.
6:30pm — Dexter — Hall H – Cast and crew including stars Michael C. Hall and Jennifer Carpenter in attendance for what will be the show’s final pane at Comic Con. Special guests and stars are expected to attend. Another big panel so get in line early!
8pm — Hall H and Ballroom 20 Playbacks — Room 25ABC – If you missed any of the action from the day’s panels this is the place to go to catch up. No original footage will be shown, however, just the cast and crews talking and answering questions
Friday, July 19
10am — Inside the Big Bang Theory’s Writer’s Room — Ballroom 20 – This panel will feature writers from the CBS hit show as they answer questions and preview season 7, which kicks off on September 26
10:30am — Defiance — Room 6A – Cast stars Grant Bowler, Julie Benz and Jamie Murray along with others will answer questions and preview season two of the hit SyFy show
11:15am — Veronica Mars — Hall H – Cast and crew will discuss the upcoming film project funded by a Kickstarter campaign. Exclusive videos will be shown during the panel
11:45am — Helix — Room 6A – New SyFy show with Executive Producer Ronald Moore (Battlestar: Galactica) in attendance to preview the upcoming show before it kicks off this year
12:15pm — Kick-Ass 2 and Riddick — Hall H – Cast and crews from the two upcoming summer films will stop by, answer questions and show footage. Vin Diesel and Katee Sackhoff expected to attend
12:45pm — The 100 — Room 6BCF – Entire pilot episode will be screened from this upcoming show. Cast stars will be in attendance for Q&A session as well
1:30pm — The Walking Dead — Hall H – This will definitely be one of the biggest panels of the convention. Show stars including Andrew Lincoln, Norman Reedus and David Morrissey along with new showrunner Scott Gimple and creator Robert Kirkman will be on hand. There will be a Q&A session and footage shown from season 4 of the show. Again expect huge lines for this one so camp out early to get in to this panel.
1:45pm — Agents of SHIELD — Ballroom 20 – Another big panel expected for the weekend. Creator and producer Joss Whedon will be in attendance along with exclusive footage from the season being revealed.
2:50pm — Game of Thrones — Hall H – This panel will feature several of the show’s stars including Emilia Clarke, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, Peter Dinklage, Michelle Fairley, Kit Harrington, Rose Leslie and Richard Madden will be in attendance. Again, huge panel, expect long lines, get there early.
3:30pm — Buffy the Vampire Slayer Seasons 8 & 9 Discussion — Room 26AB – The comic books have kept the Joss Whedon show alive, and in this panel Georges Jeanty will host a lively Q&A discussion about the popular series.
4:00pm — Sony Presentation including Amazing Spider-Man 2, Robocop and others — Hall H – Sony Pictures takes over the Hall to preview some of their biggest movies coming up including footage from the new Spider-Man film, never before seen.
6:15pm — Joss Whedon: Dark Horse — Ballroom 20 – The creator of Buffy, Firefly and more will preview his upcoming work in the comic book industry during this panel.
6:30pm — Metallica — Hall H – As strange as it might sound, all four members of Metallica will be in attedance for this special panel previewing their new film Metallica: Through the Never.
8pm — Hall H and Ballroom 20 Playbacks — Room 25ABC – Did you miss any of today’s panels? Well here’s your chance to catch up!
