Kevin Sorbo has been added to the cast of ‘Supergirl’ season 2 in a villainous role but who is he playing?
Kevin Sorbo — best known for his role on ‘Hercules: The Legendary Journeys — has been cast in a recurring role for ‘Supergirl’ season 2.
What we know so far is that Sorbo will play a villain going up against Supergirl and her friends at the DEO, but details about his part are being kept under wraps. Just a few days ago, ‘Lois and Clark’ star Teri Hatcher was also added to the cast for ‘Supergirl’ as the big bad for the second half of season 2 currently underway but it’s unknown if Sorbo will play a part in her storyline or not.
“Since his days as Hercules, Kevin Sorbo has brought such a strong presence to the screen and we couldn’t be more excited to have him join us on Supergirl,” executive producer Andrew Kreisberg said in a statement.
There’s no word when Sorbo will first appear but it looks like he’s been booked for a multi-episode arc during ‘Supergirl’ season 2.
‘Supergirl’ airs Monday nights at 8pm ET on the CW.
