Barry’s decision to change the past has dire consequences when ‘The Flash’ returns for season 3 this October…
At the end of ‘The Flash’ season 2, Barry Allen had finally seen enough of the people he loved die so he decided to go back in time to finally save his mother from the fate she suffered at the hands of Eobard Thawne aka The Reverse Flash.
Those actions bring Barry back together with his parents for the first time since he was a child, but that single action sends a shockwave through his universe and changes the very fabric of the world he once knew.
To make matters even more complicated, the longer Barry stays in this new world, his memories start to morph and shift to the life he led in this alternate reality. Will he forget Iris? How will he deal with Joe and the rest of the West family having no memory of him whatsoever?
Barry’s good friend Cisco Ramone is now the richest man in Central City and he’s the man in charge of the building that once stood as STAR Labs. There’s no sight of Harrison Wells either so this story just continues to twist and turn as Barry’s actions to save his mother affect anyone and everyone around him.
To add to Barry’s problems in this new world, it appears Dr. Alchemy — a famous villain from the history of The Flash — will be pursuing him this season.
