It’s time for the ‘Poltergeist’ remake trailer and let’s see how they did rebooting the 1982 classic…
The first ‘Poltergeist’ film from 1982 is still regarded as one of the scariest movies of all time (I couldn’t sleep with a tree outside my window until I was a teenager), but in true Hollywood fashion, there’s never a time to leave well enough alone.
So there’s a new ‘Poltergeist’ remake coming later this year starring Sam Rockwell in the Craig T. Nelson role in a film directed by Gil Kenan.
The movie appears to keep many of the same pieces in place from the original (although the little girl is now Madison instead of Carrie Anne) and the thrills and chills seem to pay homage to the first film of the same name.
